I was born and raised in Nambia. Nambia is located on the south west coast of Africa between South Africa and Angola.
My grandparents immigrated to German Southwest Africa when it was a German Colony early in 1900. My parents owned a farm (Farm Chairos) in the northern part of Namibia where we had a hunting and Guest Farm business.
I went to school in Swakopmund on the coast of Namibia and when I finished school I went to study Electrical Engineering in Cape Town, South Africa.
I then worked for Escom in the Telecommunications Department and in 1986 immigrated to New Zealand with my wife Eleanor whom I married in South Africa.
I got sponsored to come to New Zealand by Tait Electronics where I worked for 15 years, 1st in the Engineering Department and then in Customer Support and then as a Product Manager in Marketing.
In 2005 I left Tait and started my own Business Coaching business. I also bought and sold a few businesses along the way.
My main focus now is Business Coaching and Property Development
Eleanor and I have 3 children Tristan, Felix, and Isabel.
We live in Cashmere, near the foothills of Christchurch, NZ.
My passions are playing Pickleball, mountain biking, traveling, family and friends.
